- Butchering Carcasses
Butchering: Separating and dividing the animal carcass into smaller pieces, according to the cuts requested by the industry or clients (ribs, loins, rump, etc.).
- Performing Standardized Cuts
Making cuts according to standards established by the industry or clients, ensuring that the meat is ready for sale or further processing (packaging, seasoning, etc.).
- Handling Tools and Equipment
Using a variety of knives, cleavers, and other cutting instruments with precision and safety.
Operating machines such as electric saws, slicers, and mincers, when necessary, to perform more specific or larger-scale cuts.
- Complying with Hygiene and Safety Standards
Strictly following hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring that the work environment, tools, and meat are always clean and free from contamination.
Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as steel mesh gloves, aprons, and appropriate boots, to prevent accidents with knives and other sharp instruments.
- Working in Refrigerated Environments
Work frequently in cold environments (such as cold storage rooms) where meat is processed and stored to ensure proper preservation.
Withstand working in low temperatures for extended periods, adapting to the production environment.
- Meeting Production Goals
Work quickly and efficiently, meeting daily meat production and processing goals without compromising quality.
Monitor production needs in terms of boneless or cut meat volume, adjusting as needed.
- Following Customer Specifications
Meet specific requests for meat cuts for particular customers or markets, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately.
Follow detailed guidelines on size, weight, and shape of cuts as required by commercial or regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with Other Departments
Work collaboratively with other teams in the meat industry, such as packaging, shipping, and quality control departments, to ensure that the final product is delivered according to standards.
- Waste Management
Properly manage the waste generated in the cutting process (such as bones, cartilage, hides), ensuring that it is disposed of or processed correctly, in accordance with environmental and health standards.
Requisitos:
- Minimum and valid documentation required in Portugal.
- Own transport
- Technical Cutting Skills
- Experience in the Meat Industry or Butcher Shops
- Punctuality/Attendance
- Dynamism and sense of responsibility
- Proactivity;
- Experience in a factory environment
- Own vehicle for commuting
- Preferably residing in the Torres Vedras area.

- Monday to Saturday; (to be defined)
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Full-time
(Factory Cleaning)
- Monday to Saturday; (to be defined)
- 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM Full-time
EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT:
- Permanent Contract;
